“Travel Through Time” Presents Rumpun Maison and Pamela Usanto Atelier

Niniveh is pleased to present you “Travel Through Time” a presentation of artisanal collection by two of Jakarta’s aspiring designers Rumpun Maison and Pamela Usanto with three supported brands, Pubumesu, Pot Cartel and Lil Co. Niniveh, an experimental space founded by Emmelyn Gunawan and Chris Bunjamin is a retail and event platform to present new and emerging brands in a collaborative way between founders and designers.
Rumpun Maison is a textile collective by two friends, Yang Hartono and Danny Permadi who have spent many years in Europe and decided to return to Indonesia a few years ago. Their first collection for Niniveh is a testament to their globe trotting travels, a collection of loungewear, shirts as well as homewares such as silk cushions and runners crafted using one of a kind fabrics sourced from all across the globe. Both designers marvel through the vestige of time past, preserving woven loom fabrics while maintaining relationships with local textile craftsmen and craftswomen across Indonesia.
Our next female designer, Pamela Usanto has made her mark as a bridal designer in Melbourne, Australia and while she is now based in Jakarta, her dresses have been coveted by celebrities and models both internationally and locally. Usanto’s signature silk boudoir dresses are amongst her most popular collection to date. Pamela will be showing her signature camisole silk dresses and ready-to-wear collection along with her silk slippers specially designed for Niniveh’s “Time Through Travel”.
One of the supported brands Pubumesu founded by Putri Bunga Meita Soedino, is a leather accessories brand known for her whimsical fans which have graced countless international magazines and has recently launched in one of fashion’s most respected online retailers Net-a-Porter. Pubumesu will present her new designs as part of her latest collection and guests will be able to see how the fans are made by one of the skilled master artisan present during the event.
Pot Cartel is a ceramic studio known for their hand building freeform ceramics together with Lil Co, a paper flower artist, they will show a flower arrangement installation on 10 custom-built ceramic vases.
During the intimate presentation each collaborators and artists will be present to show their collection directly to Niniveh’s clienteles a great way to introduce the collection with unique story telling.
